The day is coming to an end, the coffee is no longer abating the tiredness and the eyes are beginning to droop. As I stretch my legs out across the sofa, I feel all the tiny knots in my muscles untangle readying themselves to stand up. The darkness outside is settling, I can hear a light breeze as I begin to pick up the items from the voids in my sitting room, attempting to not miss any as I then load them into the dish washer. The tiny clinks as the cutlery lands together. A cat meows behind me reminding me to grab a cup of food for them from the bag and place it gently in the bowl, met by purrs of joy. It's time now, the dishwashers on, the house is locked and the lights are off. Time to ascend the stairs up to bed to lay my head down on the soft pillow and drift off to sleep.
As I woke up this morning, I found myself bereft of journey, lacking adventure. I stirred from my bed to be surrounded by the dullness of morning and the greyness of day. The children awoke around me and the noise of their chitter chatter stirred my senses. I shuffled downstairs, hand running against the wall feeling the smoothness of the paint as I headed towards the kitchen. I filled up the kettle and turned it on with the usual satisfying click and listened as the water started to boil. I took down my favourite cup, the black and white one with the flowers and a tiny chip on the rim. It adds character I thought to myself. I spooned in my favourite instant coffee, you know, the powdery type that sets the bank account back a notch and added the boiling water. Carrying this to the sitting room, I sat and I waited. The smell from the coffee tantalising my senses, slowly arousing my mind and giving small glimmers of hope. It has started to cool, I lift the cup and take my first

V for Vendetta, V for Valentine, your choice :)
I personally enjoy valentines day and I even received a valentines card which wasn't expected but I'm quite happy with. I know I promised the picture of Jack to be finished soon but do you know what? I'm having a complete mental block when it comes to this drawing... Just when I think it's going right, I complete rub out his arm because it never fits with the rest of it! His arm may well be the end of me because I hate leaving things like that unfinished.
I will see if I can't find something else to upload for you in the near future. I did draw some valentines cards but then I forget to scan t
